Create FTA XenApp XenDesktop

Create FTA in XenApp or XenDesktop 7.x modifying application properties.

Open Studio and modify application properties

Open Studio and select and application and open application properties.  Select the File Type Association in the Application Settings dialog and select extensions to associate with this application.  Then select Identification in the Application Setting dialog and add in the Description and keywords: field either

KEYWORD:Auto
or...
KEYWORD:Mandatory

If the keyword is set to Auto and the end-user chooses to unsubscribe to the application then the FTA no longer functions.  You can prevent end-users from unsubscribing from an application with a FTA when you set the keyword Mandatory.

Additional information about keywords

Keyword work in XenApp 6.5 too and are entered in the Application description field in application properties in AppCenter.  XenApp 6.5 may be case sensitive and should be entered in format

KEYWORD: <keyword>
example...
KEYWORDS:mandatory

XenApp/XenDesktop 7.x do not appear as case sensitive.
