What is Citrix Secure Web? 

  • It’s an HTML5-compatible mobile browser developed by Citrix
  • Supported on iOS and Android.
  • It is part of the Productivity Apps suite
  • Allows IT Admins to control and manage external/internal sites via MAM based policies

 

Citrix Secure Web MicroVPN Connection Modes

Two modes:
  1. Secure Browse (default):
  • Recommended for most scenarios
  • Can perform SSO with most Web apps on the network
  • Requires a Citrix Gateway
  • Consumes NS Universal Licenses
  1. Full VPN Tunnel:
  • Specific scenarios where mobile device requires end-to-end connection with Web app.
    • Example: Certificate based authentication with SharePoint
  • Requires a Citrix Gateway
  • Consumes NS Universal Licenses
