Description

Installing Studio on a non-DDC server shows error:  The following prerequisites were not available SQL Server management Objects 2008.

Resolution

  • Install Studio on servers other than DDC, it is required to install the Studio 7.6.0 and then 7.6.300 on top of it.
  • The issue could also be caused by the prerequisites such as GPMC, SQLSysClrTypes.msi, and SharedManagementObjects.msi missing.
