Description

Inform XenMobile Administrators how to allow iOS enrolled users the ability to set the MDM provisioned Exchange profile to be set as default mail account. Users may not see the Exchange account listed in the iOS Mail settings.

Additionally users will not be able to send email with this account from other applications. Example: User will not be able to "share" a photo from the iOS Photos App. Instead they will need to Compose and email with the Mail app, then attach the photo from there.

Instructions

DISABLE iOS Exchange profile policy: "Sending email only from Mail application"

Expected behavior of MDM "managed" ActiveSync Profile with this setting enabled.

The above settings toggle the PreventAppSheet value on the iOS MDM Profile.

Optional. Default false. If set to true, this account will not be available for sending mail in any app other than the Apple Mail app.

Availability: Available in iOS 5.0 and later.
