Session printers not mapping 

Troubleshooting:

  • Viewed the issue.
  • Checked the session print policy set to unfiltered.
  • Checked HKLM\software \policies\citrix\session ID\printing policy applied correctly.
  • Tried to add the printer manually in RDP - worked.
  • Enabled the policy "Automatic installation of in-box printers" - printers add correctly.

Resolution

Enabled the policy "Automatic installation of in-box printers".

Problem Cause

Could not install drivers as disabled by policy.
