Description
We are trying to install Netscaler VPX in Microsoft Hyper-V. After downloading and importing a new virtual machine (NSVPX-HyperV-11.0-64.34_nc) has been created. But this new server is not optimized. Hyper-V reports that no integration services are installed, and the performance may be degraded. Is this normal? In other platforms like Xen Server, or even with Xen Mobile 10 virtual appliances for Hyper-V, the integration services are already included.
Resolution
The integration services are nothing but collection of drivers required to use HyperV-specific devices. These integration-services/drivers were not installed as separate services but were already built into the Netscaler’s Freebsd kernel. Due to this it is not showing up in the “Summary View”.
