Description
When performing Appfw Signature update through GUI throws an error Error in accessing the URL! . Below are steps to perform a manual signature update:
Login to NS GUI: Navigate to : Security > Application Firewall > Signatures > *Default Signatures > Update Version --> Error in accessing the URL!
The same works fine through NS CLI.
Resolution
When clicking on “update version”, NS utilizes the local PC connection to access the appfw signature site s3.amazonaws.com on port 443 so the local PC needs to have internet connectivity and should be able to resolve this hostname.
GUI: Security > Application Firewall > Signatures > *Default Signatures > Update Version --> Error in accessing the URL!
