Description
In Citrix Cloud XenApp and XenDesktop Service to manage a System Center Virtual Machine Manager hosting connection an error message "SCVMM console version 2012 or later is not installed on the following delivery controllers:" is displayed.
Resolution
Install the SCVMM Console on the server running the Citrix Cloud Connector.
For Citrix Cloud, the requirement is that the SCVMM Console is installed on the servers running Citrix Cloud Connector.
Problem Cause
In a traditional XenDesktop Deployment, the System Center Virtual Machine Manager Console is required to be installed on the Delivery Controller to enable a hosting connection to SCVMM devices.For Citrix Cloud, the requirement is that the SCVMM Console is installed on the servers running Citrix Cloud Connector.
