Description

When opening a local file on a workstation, that file does not open in a Published XenApp Application, per File Type Association settings in that application's properties.

Example: Opening a local .pdf file opens in a Local PDF application rather than a Published PDF application.

Resolution

1. Published Application must be either a Favorite or Subscribed to the user in Receiver.
2. Client Drive Redirection must be enabled.
3. After subscribing or setting the published application as a favorite in Receiver, set the local file type association in Windows to the published application, which should now appear as an option.
