Description

Partners and Distributors have the ability to locate customer account numbers, contract numbers and order information through Partner Central, as long as they have placed an order for that customer in the past, been provided "manage" rights under an Enterprise License Agreement or have been designated as "Renewal Partner" for rights on licenses with maintenance.

This article provides instructions on how to utilize Partner Central tools to retrieve the customer information referenced above.

Order Submission System

To view orders, partners must know the purchase order (PO) number that was submitted to Citrix either by the partner, through COSS or through the distributor and be associated to the order.

View Orders
  1. Advanced Search: Select the order type and, if known, the COSS order No., End User Customer account name. 
  2. Search Orders: Enter the purchase order number and select the To and From dates, if known. 
  • Searching without a purchase order number will show all orders submitted within the dates entered
  • No results will be displayed if no dates are entered

Submit Order

Orders may be submitted by partners for all products and services except Maintenance renewals.  Customers must process Maintenance renewals through My Account > Manage My Maintenance Program Renewals or through a quote submitted by the partner.
  1. Fill in all required fields and as many of the other fields as possible.
  2. Select Order Type.
  3. Add any comments needed or desired.
  4. Attach purchase order and any other pertinent documents for the sale.


Sales Search Tools

To find orders through Sales Search Tools, partner must have submitted the order through COSS or, if using a distributor p.o. number, be the partner that submitted order through distribution.

Orders by PO Number
Partners may search for orders by purchase order number with a distributor p.o. number or a partner p.o.number.  Enter the p.o. number and click Search.

Orders by PO Date
Select the date range to search by and click Search.

Contract Number by Company Name
This tool allows partners and distributors to search for a company's Enterprise or Easy License Agreement contract number by customer's account name.

  • Ex. ABC, Ltd.
  1. Select country and state customer resides in
  2. Add city (optional)
  3. Add company name
  4. Click Search


Contract Number by Company ID
This tool allows partners and distributors to search for an associated customer's contract number by customer's account id number.

  • Ex: 123456HQ
  1. Add the customer's account id number and click Search.

VAT Number Search
VAT number search is for distributors and partners in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Pacific regions. 

  • Search by Company ID or by Company Name

Disti Orders
Distributors can use this tool to search for orders they have submitted.  Partners can use this search also, if associated to the order.

  • Select the date range and Search


Associated Customers
Allows partners and distributors to obtain Customer account (company) id number by searching for customer alphabetically. Use this tool to assist with obtaining the contract number for Contract Number by Company ID search.

  • Choose the letter corresponding to the first letter of the customer's account name to view a list of all customers beginning with that letter
  • Results will display the customer's account name and customer org id

Invoices
Allows logged in user to elect to receive paperless invoices for their account. Partners and Distributors cannot elect for customers to receive paperless invoices. Refer to links How to Search for Invoices and How to Choose or Edit Invoice Delivery Options for complete instructions on how to use these tools.

  • Search By: Provides the ability to search by several different criteria
  • Invoice delivery option: Allows user to elect to receive paperless invoices for their company and add additional contacts who will receive paperless invoices also. Ideal for adding contacts from a company's Accounts Payable department.

 

Licensing and Renewals

Only Business Executives or contacts assigned to manage contract information have the ability to use this tool. This tool allows partners and distributors to obtain Enterprise License Agreement data, including contract number.

  1. Hover over Licensing, Renewals, and Extensions and under (Customer Licensing Programs) select Enterprise Licensing Registration
  2. Select Manage End-user Registration tab.
  3. In the View and manage information box, click on the pencil icon under Manage, next to customer account name to view contract information including:
    • Contract number
    • Contract Administrator
    • Discount Level
    • To change or add customer account primary and secondary administrators
