• NetScalers cannot resolve ADNS records configured on the box which is required to bypass internal DNS record (provided from DNS on Windows for other (internal) set of NetScalers) for a Web Interface on NetScaler callback.
• NetScaler cannot resolve its own ADNS records. After creating local Name Server with dedicated IP address we can resolve names using “dig” when pointing towards that IP address.
• Issue seen across HA and GSLB.
• DNS queries to localhost are failing when indirectly accessible load balancing DNS server (0.0.0.0) is configured.

To resolve this issue change the DNS server from load balancing VIP to direct "name server" or to use directly accessible load balancing VIP.

Problem Cause

Local A Records cannot be resolved when indirectly accessible load balancing VIP (0.0.0.0) is used as a DNS server.
