Description
Error when attempting to access the PVS console: "Cannot establish a connection to the database because the server cannot be found. Please check your database connection settings in the registry and the network path to your server.
Resolution
- Reenter the FQDN of the database server in the following registry keys of all PVS Server: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Citrix\ProvisioningServices\Database\Database Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Citrix\ProvisioningServices\Database\Server
- Rerun the PVS configuration wizard with a PVS service account that has full access to the Farm.
Problem Cause
Database server entry in registry of PVS servers contained jumbled letters and the PVS admin account being used did not have full acess to the PVS farm.
