Description

Consider the following scenario; an on-premise Outlook should be migrated to Office 365. A virtual IP is configured for SSL to SSL bridging behind a content switching virtual server.

Instructions

For mailbox migration to complete successfully the SSL session should not be altered.

Complete the following steps for Outlook to Office 365 migration:

  1. Create a new virtual IP for the SSL_BRIDGE on port 443 since SSL_BRIDGE virtual server cannot be placed behind a content switching virtual server.

  2. Make changes to the firewall to allow port 443.

  3. Set the persistency on the SSL_BRIDGE VIP to 60 minutes.

  4. Test the mailbox migration.

If any issues are observed using multiple virtual servers then switch to a single virtual server.
