Description
The following error is displayed when making configuration changes to the primary NetScaler:
"Unable to establish connection with the secondary. Command propagation failed"
Resolution
Complete the following steps to troubleshoot this issue:
- Ensure that the "ns-server-certificate" and "cert-key" pair are installed on primary and secondary NetScaler and bound to internal service 127.0.0.1.
- In certain cases (say after upgrade to 12.1.62.x), it could be because of the use of older TLS protocols. Keep only TLS1.2 enabled. Navigate to Traffic Management -> Services -> Internal Services -> Edit "nsrpcs-127.0.0.1-3008" -> Edit "SSL Parameters" -> Keep only "TLS1.2" enabled -> Click on "Ok" -> Click on "Done" and test "secure" RPCÂ
