Description
Auto DNS registration by PVS Targets blocked by "Secure Updates Only" DNS setting, plus their timestamp in DNS showed "static".
Resolution
Delete Static DNS entries for Target device & reboot the Target devices so they check in and auto register with DNS and are properly time stamped to allow for DNS scavenging.
Problem Cause
Static entries that were manually created for Target devices already existed in DNS.
