Hosting a VMware vSphere 5.5 server through XenDesktop or XenApp Studio displays the following error:

Complete the following steps to resolve the issue:

On the VMware vSphere 5.5 server:

Request and save the Certificate with the approval Ensures the identity of a remote computer.

On each XenApp/XenDesktop controller server:

1. Open a MMC console and load the Certificates snap-in. Select Computer account for certificates management.
   

2. Click Certificates (Local Computer) > Trusted People > Certificates.
   

3. Right-click Certificates > All Tasks > Import… to import the certificate.
   

4. After importing the certificate on each controller, refresh the Studio console and confirm the certificate error message is no long present.
   

Problem Cause

VMware vSphere 5.5 requests a certificate to authorize access to a third party tool or console.
