Citrix users using Receiver for iOS are disconnected from their Citrix session after working on the session by typing or clicking for around 20-30 seconds. The users get the following error:
"Cannot Connect.
Check your network connection and try again.
OK."
If the users are not working on the session, it continues to work.
Users are able to reconnect to the same disconnected session but the same behavior occurs after working for less than a minute in the session. The session can be a published application, Desktop or XenDesktop VDA. This issue occurs for internally or externally connected users.
The following error might appear in the advanced logs of the Receiver for iOS.
Citrix Receiver for iOS - Logs 07-02-2014 15:46:48 - ERROR: Encountered network error in Engine. Setting network status in SessionViewController to inform the user. 07-02-2014 15:46:49 - WARN: External Display DisConnected event - received
