Important Note(s)

  • This release is based on Version 7.1/7.5 of the VDA Core Services for Windows Server (64-bit). It patches only systems where Version 7.1/7.5 of the product is installed. Any known issues in Version 7.1/7.5 of the product, except for the specific issues resolved in this limited release, still apply.
  • You can upgrade the VDA from a console session or from an RDP session. Upgrading from within an ICA session is not supported.

Citrix cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.

New Fixes in This Release

  1. Attempts to work on a file that resides on a Client Drive Mapping (CDM) drive might result in a deadlock on picadm.sys and can cause the published desktop to become unresponsive.

    [From ICATS750WX64035][#LC2312]

Fixes from Replaced Hotfixes

  1. If legacy client drive mapping is enabled as described in Knowledge Center article CTX127968, overwriting a file in the mapped client root folder from the published application might fail.

    [From ICATS750WX64009][#LC0302]

  2. A deadlock in picadm.sys can cause servers to become unresponsive.

    [From ICATS750WX64014][#LA2010]

  3. The operating system experiences an error on picadm.sys and a blue screen appears with bugcheck code 0x22.

    [From ICATS750WX64014][#LC0227]

  4. If the "File redirection bandwidth limit" and "Overall session bandwidth limit" policies are set, the session might exit unexpectedly.

In order to address the issue, you must install both a server update that contains Fix #LA5925, plus Receiver for Windows 4.1.200 or later , and then set the following registry key on the server:

    • Create the following registry key:
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\picadm\Parameters
      Name: DisableHighThroughput
      Type: REG_DWORD
      Value: 1
    • Change the following registry key:
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\picadm\Parameters
      Name: MaxNetCommands
      Type: REG_DWORD
      Value: <Set to a smaller value>

    [From ICATS750WX64023][#LA5925]

  5. When a user who is not assigned permission to delete a given file in a session attempts to delete that file, the file does temporarily disappear from view and then reappears when you refresh the window.

    [From ICATS750WX64023][#LC0542]

  6. The operating system experiences an error on picadm.sys and a blue screen appears. The issue occurs when the value of "TrucationResource" becomes null.

    [From ICATS750WX64030][#LC1430]
