This article describes how to fix the uninstall of Citrix StoreFront when installed using a non-English UI. When StoreFront is installed under these conditions, uninstall will fail with error code 1605, erroneously indicating the product is not installed.


Instructions

Complete the following process to repair StoreFront when installed using a non-English UI:

Caution! Refer to the Disclaimer at the end of this article before using Registry Editor.

Replace the default Globally Unique Identifier (GUID) product code for Citrix StoreFront written into the registry with the following value:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Citrix\Roles\DeliveryServicesRole\DeliveryServices\DeliveryServicesPkg\ProductCode

The replacement product code GUID can be found in the UninstallString registry value associated with the Citrix StoreFront MSI file. The product code GUID varies with the UI language in use when StoreFront was installed and can be located in the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

The GUID to use follows the /X parameter passed to MsiExec.exe in the UninstallString value. 

NOTE: Confirm DisplayName value is Citrix StoreFront.
