When an EdgeSight Agent for VDA is in a down state for more than five days and the Agent Database Server predates Version 5.3, Event IDs 65 and 85 are logged in the Event Viewer and in fbmonitor.log. The issue occurs when an extra back slash is added while getting the folder path from the registry.

For example, if the value under the registry setting HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CITRIX\ System Monitoring\FbMonitor\Core\KnownDatabases is changed to mm/dd-6/yyyy hh:mm:ss AM/PM (date is changed to 6 days ago), Event IDs 65 and 85 are logged in the Event Viewer while the Citrix EdgeSight Firebird Service Monitor is restarted.
This fix also resolves Agent Database Server upgrades that occurs because the upgrade changes "FirebirdDataPath" to the default value.

The EdgeSight Agent Service (rscorsvc.exe; Citrix System Monitoring Agent) can exit and then restart intermittently. The following errors are recorded:
Error in sys_event_txt.txt log:
"unavailableDB"
Error in Firebird.log:
"XNET error: get_free_slot() failed� or “unknown ISC error 0"

The Agent Database Server can intermittently be marked as "Expired" on the Agent Database Servers page of the EdgeSight Server Console even if it is available. The issue occurs when the Citrix EdgeSight Firebird Service Monitor cannot contact the EdgeSight Agent Database Broker.
