Adding a host configured with HTTPS in Desktop Studio can generate the following error when you click Next on the Connect to a new Host screen:
“Unable to contact the hypervisor. Check that the address…"
You must install the certificate on all the Desktop Delivery Controllers (Controllers) with the “Computer account” setting as indicated in the following steps:
At the command prompt, type mmc, and press Enter.
On the File menu, click Add/Remove Snap-in.
Highlight Certificates and click Add.
Select Computer account and click Next.
Select Local computer and click Finish.
Click OK to close the Add/Remove Snap-in.
Expand Certificates.
Right-click on Trusted People.
Select All Tasks > Import.
Click Next.
Locate the certificate and click Next.
When wizard is completed, click Finish.
This error might occur if the root certificate is not currently installed or the certificate was improperly configured on the Citrix Controller(s). The mmc snap-in was incorrectly set to manage the “My user account” certificates, or the web browser used to save the certificate placed it in the User container of the Controller.
