Description

Host explorer.exe aids in presenting the user with Windows Explorer folder view, rather than a Desktop using the command-line option /n.

Background

When opening explorer.exe without command line options, Windows starts a Windows session that is Desktop. If you want to open a new Windows Explorer window to view folders, the /n command line argument can be used.

Instructions

Complete the following steps to complete the task:

  1. Create a Catalog with at least one Server OS Machine for hosting your Application.

  2. Create an Application Delivery group from your Server OS Catalog.

  3. Choose Add an application manually.

  4. Browse to explorer.exe, found in c:\windows\explorer.exe.

This might be displayed as “%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe”.

  5. Add the command-line argument /n.

  6. Click OK and continue to the end of the wizard.
