Instructions

Complete the following steps to capture email client logs:

  1. Unplug device from any USB connection (if plugged in).

  2. From the phone dialer, type:
    *#0514#

  3. From the SysDump items, select "Enable SecLog" to enable secure logging (the second to the last item).

  4. On the sysDump screen, click Debug Level (High). This should restart the device.

  5. After the phone starts, start the phone dialer again.

  6. From the phone dialer, type:
    *#0514#

  7. On the sysDump screen, click Run dumpstate/logcat/modem log.

  8. After completion of log run, click Copy to sdcard.

  9. Click OK when success message appears.

  10. Click Home button and go to Applications > My files.

  11. Go to log directory.

  12. Find a file named 'dumpState_**datestamp**.log'.

  13. Copy this file to a location where you can email or share.
