Profiles managed by Citrix Profile Management do not delete immediately when “Delete locally cached profiles on logoff” is enabled.

This new behavior is by design. The delayed deletion is introduced to avoid deleting a locked profile that may be in use by another process.

Problem Cause

Citrix Profile Manager 4.1.x introduced a change in behavior for deleting locally cached profiles. At logoff, profiles are marked for deletion. A worker thread periodically checks for profiles that are marked for deletion.

Profiles are deleted when not in use for two minutes. Users can expect a delay of at least two minutes for the locally cached profile to be deleted.

Profiles managed by Citrix Profile Management do not delete immediately
