To upgrade Citrix License Server to 11.10 on a Windows 2008 Server, complete the following steps:

1. Open the Citrix download page and log on with your Citrix ID.

2. Download the latest version of the installation files from Citrix Downloads.
   Important! Before you start to upgrade the License Server, it is always recommended that you take a backup of the license files and server. You can find the license files in the MyFiles folder in the installation folder.

3. Open the License Server Web page.

4. Select Administration and log on.
   Here, you can check the version of the License Server that is installed.

   

5. Start the CTX_Licensing installer package on the License Server.

6. Click Upgrade as shown in the following screen shot:

   

7. Click OK to continue with the installation, as shown in the following screen shot:

   

   

8. Click Finish.

   

9. Restart the License Server service and go to the License Server Web page.

10. Select Administration on the upper right-hand side corner of the screen and log on.
    Here, you can check the updated version of the License Server.
