This article describes how to upgrade Citrix Access Gateway Standard or Advanced licenses to Citrix Access Gateway Universal licenses using My Account.

Instructions

To upgrade to Citrix Access Gateway Universal licenses, complete the following procedure:

1. Log on to the Citrix My Account web portal.

2. Select All Licensing Tools under the Licensing section.

3. Select Upgrade, as shown in the following screen shot:

   

   Note: Only Citrix Access Gateway Standard or Advanced Edition (Connection) licenses can be fulfilled to Citrix Access Gateway Universal licenses. Citrix Access Gateway Platform licenses are associated to a hardware appliance and should not be selected to complete this upgrade.

4. Select Access Gateway/Secure Access Manager on the left-hand side and Access Gateway Universal License on the right-hand side, as shown in the following screen shot:

   

5. Complete the on-screen prompts. A table indicating the number of user licenses eligible for a version upgrade appears.

About 15 minutes to 1 hour after the upgrade is completed and confirmed, the new license code is available on Activate and Allocate License under the Licensing section. After the upgrade, product name reads as NetScaler Gateway Universal.
