Description

The following message is displayed when opening an ICA connection:

Error 2320: Citrix Receiver configuration manager: No value could be found for (LegacyLocaluserNameAndPassword) that satisfies all lockdown requirements. The lockdown requirements in force might be conflicting.

Resolution

Caution! Refer to the Disclaimer at the end of this article before using Registry Editor.

Complete the following steps to fix the issue:

  1. On the client machine, browse to the following location:
    HKLM\SOFTWARE\Citrix\ICA Client\Engine\Lockdown Profiles\All Regions\Lockdown\Local Credentials
  2. Complete one of the following to resolve the issue:
    1. Upgrade to Receiver 3.0 to use the LegacyLocaluserNameAndPassword registry setting.
      OR
    2. If you choose to use an ICA client prior to Receiver 3.0, remove the registry value "LegacyLocalUserNameAndPassword" from the affected computer.

Problem Cause

ICA clients prior to Receiver version 3.0 are unable to interpret the registry value LegacyLocaluserNameAndPassword or the value LegacyLocaluserNameAndPassword was incorrectly configured.
