This document describes the issue(s) resolved by this release and includes installation instructions. For additional product information, see Citrix eDocs, the Citrix Product Documentation Library. Redesigned in July 2011, eDocs offers a modernized look and feel and greatly improved styling and usability of PDFs.
IBM Lotus Notes Calendar does not reflect the correct time when run as a published application. The issue occurs because Lotus Notes Calendar runs as a Java program on the server but does not use java.exe or javaw.exe. This fix introduces support for the following registry key that lets you add a list of programs that run as Java programs but do not use java.exe or javaw.exe. When a program loads tzhook.dll, which handles the implementation of local time and time zones, it will check against this list; if a match is found, the requisite additional APIs are hooked so that the correct time and time zone appear in the session:
On 32-bit Windows:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Citrix\CtxHook\AppInit_Dlls\Per Session Time Zone
Name: javaexes
Type: MULTI_SZ
Data: <list of program names that run as Java programs but do not use java.exe or javaw.exe>
On 64-bit Windows:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Citrix\CtxHook\AppInit_Dlls\Per Session Time Zone
Name: javaexes
Type: MULTI_SZ
Data: <list of program names that run as Java programs but do not use java.exe or javaw.exe>
[From XAE500R01W2K8X64048][#231478]
When accessing a published instance of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (formerly Navision) from a client device in a different time zone than the XenApp server, an incorrect time appears in the client session. This fix corrects the issue by modifying the implementation of the TzSpecificLocalTimeToSystemTime and SystemTimeToTzSpecificLocalTime Windows APIs.
[From XAE500R01W2K8X64048][#LA0446]
Time zone redirection does not work for Lotus Notes in sessions running on XenApp 5 with Hotfix Rollup Pack 1.
