When the 'nsmap - t' command is run from the shell prompt of a NetScaler appliance the following error message might be displayed:
nsmap: Error getting location. ErrorCode: 0x153
The 'nsmap - t' command is run to query a loaded location database file on the NetScaler appliance.
The error code 0x153 indicates that there is no Input Output Control (IOCTL) in the kernel. To resolve the issue, run the following command from the shell prompt:
root@NS# nsmap -t -d
Note: The option -d specifies that the nsmap command must work with a file based database.
Enter IP address to test (dot notation) or enter q to exit.This error occurs if the required parameters in the nsmap command are not specified.
If the ​preceding command does not work, run the following command from shell prompt:
root@NS# nsmap -d -t
