Description
When Hotfixes are installed, the fatal error 1603 occurrs.
Resolution
Complete the following steps to resolve the issue:

Go to Start > Run, type cmd, and click OK.

Run the command msdtc –resetlog.
Warning! Ensure that no pending transactions are present when the command msdtc -resetlog is issued. Otherwise, the data might be corrupted if used incorrectly. - Run the command net start msdtc.
