600,000 connections achieved under stress

A farm with 600,000 connections under stress was tested successfully with this hotfix rollup pack. This ascertains a new level of product stability and further provides confidence about the product reliability and scalability.

Support for HDX MediaStream for Flash

This hotfix rollup pack provides support for enabling the HDX MediaStream Flash feature delivered in Feature Pack 3. This feature moves the processing of Adobe Flash Player to user devices rather than using network server resources. This results in a high-definition experience when using Windows Internet Explorer to access Flash content, including animations, videos, and applications. By moving the processing to the user device, HDX MediaStream for Flash reduces server and network load, resulting in greater scalability.

Support for HDX Plug-n-Play for USB Storage

This feature enables users to interact with USB mass storage devices connected to their user devices while in a XenApp session. When HDX Plug-n-Play for USB storage devices is enabled, users can connect or disconnect a USB device from a session at anytime, regardless of whether the session was started before or after the drive connection.

Support for Microsoft Office 2010

Office 2010 applications were verified with this hotfix rollup pack.

Support for Oracle 11g R2, SQL 2008 R2, and DB2 9.7

Sanity tests were performed with Oracle 11g R2, SQL 2008 R2, and DB2 9.71 to verify basic functionality.
Support for Branch Repeater optimizations for both physical appliance and VPX (Virtual Appliance)
Citrix Branch Repeater WAN optimization improves the delivery of Citrix XenApp to the branch office and mobile users, while reducing bandwidth costs and simplifying branch office IT. This hotfix rollup pack was successfully tested with the latest versions of the Branch Repeater using both the physical appliance and VPX environment.

Enhanced compatibility support for customer databases

Test coverage was enhanced to simulate real customer databases in large farm environments. This provided closer simulation regarding the type of data, the amount of data, and the database configuration actual customers utilize in their large farm deployments.
