In XenApp version 6.0 or XenApp version 6.5, if a session is disconnected while the published desktop is locked, the user cannot reconnect to the disconnected session, and a black window appears. In some instances, in addition to the black window, additional errors such as the following appear:
"Element not found" or "This network connection does not exist."
The following procedure details how to reproduce the issue:
Publish a published desktop on a XenApp 6.0 or XenApp 6.5 server.
Connect to the published desktop from a client computer.
Lock the published desktop in the session.
Disconnect the session.
Reconnect to the disconnected session from a client computer after the session is disconnected. Published desktop appears as a black window to the user, as displayed in the following screen shot:
Note: The session needs to be reset after the symptom occurs.
