You should use DOTI for:
Renewals
- Select and Priority Renewals
- Appliance Maintenance
- Combined renewal quote for Appliance Maintenance and Software Renewals
Maintenance Upgrades
- Active/expired Subscription Advantage (SA) to Select
- Active termed license upgrades to Priority (excluding campus-wide & Cloud Hybrid)
Renewal Transaction
- The type of user (End-user Customer, Partner, Distributor) that can transact a renewal quote is configured by GEO.
- As a customer, you can assign one 'Renewal Partner' who will be identified as the partner on the transaction when the quote is created. (the availability of this feature depends on rules established for your GEO)
- Users can view a renewal certificate after the renewal transaction is processed
Unrestricted username and password for account containing Maintenance Program memberships.
- To access DOTI, navigate to www.citrix.com and Sign in to the My Account page with your Citrix credentials.
- Scroll down and click the “Renew and Manage Maintenance Programs” link on the left-hand side.
- Click the Launch Digital Online Transaction Interface tab. The tool opens on the main page.
Overview of DOTI’s user interface
DOTI’s main page displays all your quotes. Also, from the main page, you can perform the following actions:
- Use the “Search” feature to quickly locate a quote.
- Navigate to the Transactions page (see details next screenshot).
- View your Renewal certificates.
- Click on the quote number to view the quote details.
- Create a new quote.

The Transactions page displays all your orders. Also, from this page, you can perform the following actions:
- Use the “Search” feature to quickly locate a quote or an order.
- Navigate to the Quotes page (see details on next screenshot).
- View your Renewal certificates.
- Click on the order number to view the order details.
- Create a new quote.
Creating a Renewal/Upgrade Quote
Note: You will follow the same steps whether you are creating a quote for a renewal or an upgrade.
- Click the “Create quote” button.
Use filters and select products
- Simple step-by-step quoting flow.
- Use filters to include or exclude products:
- Filter by Status and/or Product
- Search by Serial number
- Filter by Date Range
- Click on
“Select” or “Deselect” all visible items. - The quantity in your shopping cart includes both Software and Hardware products.
Confirm Software
- The first step is to confirm software.
Upgrade SA to Select
When upgrading to Select, in order to ensure compliance quoting, all items required to maintain compliance will be indicated as “
Required” on their line item.
The “Service level” column will indicate the level of service required to maintain compliance.
Assets in reinstatement
- When creating a renewal or upgrade quote, by default, all assets active and/or expired less than 6 months will be pre-selected.
- Assets in reinstatement will be indicated as “Expired” on their line item.
- Note: Assets in reinstatement will be charged a reinstatement fee and late fee, based on the maintenance program type and GEO rules.
Product details
- Click on the product name for more information regarding contract level and product details.
- Note: the correct contract for renewal pricing and customer discounting is automatically selected.
- You may select the “New Service end date” here or on the “Create a quote” page.
Select products and populate Service end dates
- Select/unselect product(s) by checking/unchecking the box for each line item.
- Choose the new expiration date for each asset - Or - use the “Date sync date” field to populate expiration date for all assets.
- Note: The default New service end date will be of one year past the latest current end date.
- Click “Next” to continue to Hardware.
- Note: You cannot create a quote for an asset with a renewal term past the End of Renewal date or greater than 5 years from the quote date, whichever occurs first.
Missing licenses
- It is recommended that you click “Missing Licenses” to verify if any eligible assets should be included in the quote. If you locate missing licenses that should be included in the quote, you can resolve by contacting your Citrix Sales Representative.
Quoting hardware only?
- If you are quoting only Hardware Maintenance, click “Skip software”. All software products will automatically be excluded from the quote.
Confirm hardware
- Repeat the following steps for hardware:
- Select products
- Populate the new Service End date
- Click “Go to Pricing”
Quoting software only?
- If you are quoting only Software, click “Skip hardware”. All hardware products will automatically be excluded from the quote.
Review pricing and finalize quote
- Select the “Currency” (if applicable).
- Check the box to agree to the Terms and Conditions.
- Click “Finalize”.
- Note: Applicable taxes are calculated and added to the total at the time the quote is transacted.
Quote validity
The quote will expire by whichever of these dates comes first:
- 90 days after creation
- Day of earliest maintenance expiration date
- Earliest maintenance start date (upgrade)
Quote actions
Once your quote is created, you may:
- Assign a partner and generate the Partner quote.
- Download the quote.
- Add notes to the quote (not visible on the quote).
- Duplicate and edit the quote.
- Mark this quote as “Favorite”.

Tip: When downloading a quote, make sure pop-up is not blocked in your browser.
Generate Partner quote
- Click on “Generate Partner Quote”
- Click on

- Click on the radio button to select the partner if already listed.
- Use the search feature if you don’t see the partner in the list.
- Click on “Generate”
- Once a partner is assigned, it will be indicated under “Generate Partner quote”
Notes to the quote
When adding notes to the quote as indicated on the previous page, they will appear under the “Notes” column on your Quotes list.
The notes will not appear on the quote.
- Use the “Search” feature or filters to quickly find a specific quote.
- Open the quote by clicking on the quote number
- Click on “Duplicate and edit”
- A message will prompt, click “I understand” to continue

A new “Create quote” page opens. Follow the instructions for “Creating a quote”.
Transacting a Maintenance Program Renewal/Upgrade quote
Customers enabled to transact are determined by GEO rules.
Find and Open a quote to transact
- From your main page, find the quote you wish to transact. Use the “Search” feature to quickly locate the quote.
- Open the quote by clicking on the quote number.
- On the quote page, click on “Transact quote” [1]
Confirm/update contact, payment, taxes information
- Confirm/select billing contact.
- Confirm/select Renewal contact.
- Confirm/assign a Partner (if applicable).
- Update payment information with credit card information or PO number.
- Update VAT information (if applicable).
Place order
- Check the box to confirm your acknowledgment of Citrix Membership Agreement.
- Click “Place Order”.
Transaction confirmation
Once you finalized the order, you will get a confirmation message. You can track the status of the order on the Quote or Transaction view.
Quote statuses in DOTI:
- Approval required
- Pending Transaction
- Pending Approval
- Approved
- Withdrawn
- Transacted
- Expired
Note: As a DOTI user, you won’t be able to transact a quote in “Pending approval” status but you will be able to view quote details, including the non-compliance reason(s).
