How to Allocate and download NetScaler Gateway licenses

1. Login to MyAccount (www.citrix.com/account).

2. Locate Manage licenses and Select the Gateway VPX licenses you want to allocate. 

3. From the Select an action menu, choose Allocate licenses.

4. (Enter) Hostname of the Gateway.

5. (Follow) process to allocate and download license file.

Note: If the licenses have already been allocated, (Click here ) to Modify Licenses.

How to install a license file by using the GUI

1. In a web browser, type the IP address of the Gateway and login to GUI

2. On the Configuration tab, navigate to System > Licenses > Manage licenses

3. Click Add New License, then click Browse and add the downloaded license file and then click Open.

4. Select Save configuration and select warm reboot, click OK

If the features are still not enabled after installing the licenses, follow the below instructions.

1. Login to the Gateway using Winscp

2. Go to root > var > log > license.log

3. Check for any errors.

4. Additionally on CLI verify the date, time, time zone on the Gateway by running the command “date” , Update the date if necessary refer to article CTX205005
