Profile Management Exclusions not Enforced

Description
When using the Group Policy Object (GPO) to administer Profile Management, default inclusions and exclusions are not enforced.
Resolution
If using the Group Policy template to manage Profile Management, manually enter the inclusions and exclusions found in the following link:
Citrix eDocs - Include and exclude items
Problem Cause
This is by design. The default exclusions and inclusions are only pre-populated and enabled in the .ini file.

CTX125778 – User Profile Manager Directory Exclusion Fails
Ensure no trailing spaces are included in the Policy. Click inside the Value in order to see the trailing space. This might be caused by copy and paste from a document, web page, and so on.
When a trailing space is included in the GUI, the UPM logs show a space before the closing bracket.
