This article contains information about configuring a Citrix Gateway appliance with unlimited Independent Computing Architecture (ICA) connections.
To configure a Citrix Gateway appliance with unlimited ICA connections, complete the following procedure:
Download and install the Citrix Gateway platform license from the MyCitrix.com web site by using the appropriate credentials.
Verify that the license contains the following increment entries:
INCREMENT CAG_ICA_CCU CITRIX 2011.0202 permanent 10000
INCREMENT CAG_BASE_SERVER CITRIX 2011.0202 permanent 1
Note: If any of the preceding entries are missing in the license file, then contact the Citrix Customer Care team.
Run the following command to verify that the license is installed appropriately:
show license

In the preceding output, verify that 10000 ICA licenses are installed, as highlighted for your reference.
To use the ICA licenses, you must configure the Citrix Gateway virtual server (VServer) of the Basic Mode type. Refer to Citrix Documentation - To configure Basic or SmartAccess connections on a virtual server for more information.
Complete the Citrix Gateway configuration by adding the Authentication and Session Policies to point to the Web Interface server.
