This article describes how to disarm High Availability (HA) and prevent XenServer host from fencing. Disarming HA does not stop HA logging.

 

Instructions

Complete the following procedure:

  1. Execute the following commands on each XenServer host to prevent fencing:
    # export PATH=$PATH:/opt/xensource/xha
    # ha_disarm_fencing

  2. Default setting can be restored by disabling and enabling HA.
