Citrix XenApp Licenses have been Renamed to ​Citrix Virtual Apps

Name Change from XenApp to Citrix Virtual Apps

Citrix Virtual Apps is the new name for XenApp beginning with the XenApp 7 release. The new name is reflected in all product licenses as well as all licensing-related pages and tools on My Account.

The License Management Console (the optional license server user interface) displays XenApp as the product name for all XenApp licenses.

Note: Licenses are not product release-specific. All product licenses and maintenance renewal licenses appear as XenApp. The following products will include the XenApp license name:

• Citrix XenApp 5.0

• Citrix XenApp 6.0

• Citrix XenApp 6.5

This name change does not affect the product or licensing operation or utilization; it is simply a name change.  Existing and new product connection licenses will behave as expected and you do not need to perform any action as a result of the name change.
