XenApp Hotfix Rollup Packs are distribution mechanisms that provide a simplified methodology for customers to update their servers quickly and easily by grouping all available problem fixes into a single package. Hotfix rollup packs are released as needed based on customer demand.

Benefits of Hotfix Rollup Packs

• Fewer hotfixes to install.

• Hotfix rollup packs install and function the same way as regular hotfixes.

• Hotfix rollup packs contain more fixes than hotfixes, reducing the overhead of maintaining servers at the latest code levels.

• Hotfix rollup packs undergo more thorough and vigorous testing than regular hotfixes. Testing includes monitoring the way a large number of fixes interact, as well as large farm scalability and performance.

Hotfix Rollup Pack Schedule

** Product has reached either End of Maintenance or End of Life. No future hotfix rollup packs are planned for these product versions. Refer to CTX122442 - Lifecycle Announcement for Citrix XenApp for more information.

*** Citrix supports the most recent hotfix rollup pack. In addition, Citrix supports the hotfix rollup pack released prior to the most recent hotfix rollup pack for 12 months.  Maintenance will only be provided for the most recent hotfix rollup pack released.  Support for the most recent hotfix rollup pack will be provided for 12 months after a subsequent hotfix roll-up pack is released or until the product reaches end of life, whichever date comes first.
 
For example, Hotfix Rollup Pack 07 for Citrix XenApp 6.5 for Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 was released on May 25th, 2016 and is the most recently released hotfix rollup pack for Citrix XenApp 6.5 for Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2. The hotfix rollup pack released prior to Hotfix Rollup Pack 07 was Hotfix Rollup Pack 06. In addition to supporting Hotfix Rollup Pack 07, Citrix will continue to support Hotfix Rollup Pack 06 until May 25th, 2017 at which time Hotfix Rollup Pack 06 is considered End of Life. Similarly, since Hotfix Rollup Pack 06 was released on July 30th, 2015, Hotfix Rollup Pack 05 will be supported until July 30th, 2016 at which time Hotfix Rollup Pack 05 will be considered End of Life.
