Knowledge Center FAQ

Since our site redesign we have received lots of valuable feedback. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive with some great ideas for tweaks and features we may implement in future releases. We are still receiving many questions from customers; this FAQ page was created to address the most common questions.

Q. When I search the Knowledge Center, the results return only English language articles. How can I search for articles in other languages?

A. You can search for non-English content by using the Advanced Search option. Click the Advanced Search link and select the check box corresponding to the language of your choice under the "Select a Language" option.

Example:

In addition to Advanced Search, you can access non-English content in the following ways:

  • Each product page contains a Change Language drop-down box on the Hotfixes, Documentation, and Components tabs
  • Articles available in more than one language contain links to their translations
  • You can search using the exact CTX number of a non-English article

Q. Where can I find the links to Software Development Kits (SDK) and/or the Citrix Developer Network (CDN) Web site? I do not see them anywhere.

A. The new CDN now has its own community-based Web site. It can be accessed through the Communities link on the top navigation bar of the Knowledge Center or directly by typing the following URL in a Web browser: http://community.citrix.com/cdn/. SDKs are now available under the SDK section of this site (http://community.citrix.com/cdn/sdk-wiki/).

Q. I cannot find the Resource Tools. Where are they?

A. Resource Tools can now be accessed through the new CDN site under Script Exchange (http://community.citrix.com/cdn/script-exchange/).

Q. I found an article that is improperly formatted. How can I report this?

A. The Knowledge Center team has worked hard to migrate legacy content to the new site. However, not all content displays correctly in the new design. We are actively correcting articles with display issues as we become aware of them. If you find an article you feel is improperly formatted, please notify us by using the Article Feedback link located at the top of the article page.

Q. I was able to use this site before, but now some of the new features do not function correctly. What happened?

A. In an effort to modernize the site we had to make certain concessions. The main concession is that not all legacy Web browsers render the site as accurately as modern browsers. We officially support Mozilla Firefox 1.5.0.12, 2.0.0.9, Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0, 7.0, Apple Safari 2.0.4, and Opera 9.24.
