    Symptom

    If the SSL client package is not enabled in NFuse.conf or the NFuse / Web Interface Administration tool, then ICA Java client users attempting to connect through Citrix Secure Gateway or SSL Relay will receive the following error when attempting to connect:

      The archives required to make an SSL connection are not available. Please contact your Citrix Administrator.

    Resolution

    Add SSL/TLS to the list of Java client packages that NFuse Classic / Web Interface sends to the user. Instructions for doing so differ depending on whether your NFuse Classic / Web Interface server is hosted on Windows or UNIX. Please consult the Web Interface Administrator’s Guide for the path, URL, to the Administrative Pages.

    For NFuse Classic 1.7 on Windows/IIS:

• Open the NFuse Classic Administration tool by pointing your browser to http://localhost/Citrix/NFuseAdmin/

• On the left-side navigation menu, select ICA Client Deployment

• In the section labeled Select Java Client packages, enable the SSL/TLS option.

• Click Save and the use Apply Changes to apply your settings to the live environment.

    For NFuse Classic 1.7 on UNIX:

      • Edit NFuse.conf and locate the JavaClientPackages parameter

      • Add SSL to the comma-separated list of packages. For example:

        JavaClientPackages=Clipboard, SSL, ClientDriveMapping, PrinterMapping, ConfigUI

      • Save your changes and then restart the web server processes

    For Web Interface 4.x:

    In the Access Suite Console, go to Web Interface > Manage Client Deployment and select the SSL/TLS check box on the Client for Java page. Refer to the following screen shot:
