PNLite Provides the Entire Application Set

PNLite is the Program Neighborhood answer for WinCE devices.

WBT devices such as Wyse Winterms and NeoWare Neostations have the ability to "autologon" to an application set with a saved set of credentials.

To enable the PNlite option, press F2 to enter the device setup. Different OEMs locate the "Enable PNlite" option under different menus. The option is usually located under "ICA Global Settings." Enabling the feature lights up the entry box to enter the username, password, and domain.

If Pnlite is enabled and no credentials are saved, the entire application set is presented to the user. Explicit applications will prompt for credentials before launching. This was resolved in later builds of the WinCE WBT ICA client. The new client functionality prompts the user again for credentials if the feature is enabled but the fields are left blank.

If user credentials are supplied in the device setup, only the applications for the particular user plus anonymous applications are provided.
