The following information outlines issues and their known workarounds:
After ESX upgrade to 5.1, Virtual Machine Inventory information is missing from XenDesktop Desktop Delivery Controller (Controller).
After ESX upgrade to 5.1, you can notice the following message:
Select I moved it to prevent the Virtual Machine UUID from changing.
Do not select I copied it because this will cause the Virtual Machine UUID to change. The resulting mismatch between the Virtual Machine UUID in the Controller Database and the new Virtual Machine UUID means that the Controller will be unable to provide Virtual Machine inventory information
Deleting Provisioned Virtual Delivery Agent on ESX 5.1 from XenDesktop 5.6 Controller fails.
The issue is a regression because of vSphere 5.1 since it is not observed with vSphere 5. This issue has been resolved in XenDesktop Hotfixes Update 4 and Update 7.
