Complete the following procedure on the machine with the Citrix Receiver client as a workaround for this issue:
  1. Run START/Run/regedit and open the Windows registry editor.
  1. Navigate to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE registry key. Check to see if the registry key ClientHostedApps exists; remove it if present.
    • 32-Bit System: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Citrix\ICA Client\Engine\Lockdown Profiles\All Regions\Lockdown\Virtual Channels\Control

    • 64-Bit System: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Citrix\ICA Client\Engine\Lockdown Profiles\All Regions\Lockdown\Virtual Channels\Control

  2. Navigate to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE registry key and check to see if the registry key ClientHostedApps exists; remove it if present.

  3. Restart or reconnect your Citrix Receiver Icon to refresh applications.
