Where to Find Documentation

This document describes the issue(s) resolved by this release. For additional product information, see Citrix eDocs, the Citrix Product Documentation Library.

Important Notes about This Release

This release is based on the Citrix offline plug-in 6.0 for Windows. Any known issues in that version of the product, except for any issues resolved in this hotfix plug-in, still apply. For a list of known issues in Version 6.0 of the product, see Citrix eDocs, the Citrix Product Documentation Library.

Caution! After installing this version of the plug-in, you can no longer downgrade to an earlier version of the plug-in.

Caution! This release may require you to edit the registry. Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Citrix cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.

Note: If you install the offline plug-in and profiler on the same computer, ensure they are the same exact version.

New Feature(s) in This Release

If you create an AppHubWhiteList to specify trusted servers for streamed services and profiles, beginning with the Offline Plug-in 6.0.2, you can deliver the white list along with the offline plug-in. For more information, see To deliver the AppHubWhiteList to user devices in eDocs. [#253802]

New Fixes in This Release

  1. Streamed to server applications do not support command line parameter passing if any of the parameters contain nested quotes (). This fix introduces support for the following command line delimiter: [/extracmdline]. The delimiter ensures successful parameter passing when publishing a streamed application from the console even if nested quotes are present.

To launch a streamed application with extended parameters from the command line, use the delimiter as in the following example:

    RadeRun.exe /app:"Winamp" /package:"\\czchowsint165\profiler$\WinAmp\WinAmp.profile" /extracmdline:" -add "c:\a \b \ c \d.mp3" switchA /switchb:"""[/extracmdline]

    [From OfflinePlug-in_6.0.002][#242450]

    [From OfflinePlug-in_6.0.002][#248855]

  5. If you publish Microsoft Word 2010 as streamed to server and enable file type association for it, attempts to open a Word document launch the application successfully but fail to open the document.
