You receive the following error message:
“Error: Windows cannot find the file……”
The application was installed on the server while the Program Neighborhood Agent was running or the application was not installed properly on the terminal server. Internet Explorer: Not putting the server in application mode when installing the new application.
When the application is installed incorrectly, the terminal server populates the application cache registry key with the path to the application data folder for the user that is installing the application. The registry keys affected are:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Terminal Server\Install\Software\Citrix\Program Neighborhood Agent\Resource Cache

HKEY_Current User\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Terminal Server\Install\Software\Citrix\Program Neighborhood Agent\Resource Cache
Caution! This procedure requires you to edit the registry. Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that might require you to reinstall your operating system. Citrix cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of the Registry Editor can be solved. Use the Registry Editor at your own risk. Back up the registry before you edit it.
