Symptoms
After upgrading to Web Interface 5.3, all connections made from the Citrix Receiver for iPad or iPhone appear in the Delivery Services Console with a client name of “mobile”
Cause
Web Interface 5.3 turns OverRideClientName to Off, by default.
Resolution
- Close the Web Interface Administration Console.
- Navigate to the XenApp Services config file (default \inetpub\wwwroot\citrix\pnagnet\conf\webinterface.conf)
- Open the WebInterface.conf in Notepad.
- Locate the Following Line:
#OverrideIcaClientname=Off
Change it to:
OverrideIcaClientname=On
When you reconnect to your applications the Client Name should appear identifying the device more accurately:
