Symptoms
When launching an application through a Web Interface you receive the following error message:
“Error number 2314: The ICA Client received a corrupt ICA File. ICA File section Application contains duplicate keys named (BrowserProtocol).”
Cause
The client is using a Cisco ASA 5520 VPN connection, and when attempting to launch an application through Web Interface 4.6 web site, the Cisco ASA 5520 VPN adds a BrowserProtocol=HTTPonTCP entry into the ICA file. The launch.ica is created with a duplicate entry of BrowserProtocol=HTTPonTCP. Version 10.0 of the ICA client connections are not successful if the client detects duplicate entries in the ICA file.
Workaround
Comment out or remove the BrowserProtocol=HTTPonTCP entry from the default.ica file on the Web Interface 4.6 server.
