Citrix is pleased to announce the release of Provisioning Server 4.5 Service Pack 1.
The following problem fixes and enhancements are in this release:
• Added ability to provision both physical and XenServer virtual devices (servers and desktops) from a single virtual disk (vDisk). For example, a vDisk can be built from a physical server and then streamed to both physical servers and virtual servers running inside of XenServer.
• Addressed a number of compatibility and performance issues when provisioning XenServer virtual machines (VMs).
• Added enhancements to support XenServer Platinum license model, including:
• The ability to provision unlimited VMs to XenServer Platinum hosts
• Support for both XenServer annual and perpetual license options
• Improved the security of the management API and TFTP Service.
• Addressed problems with Network Interface Card (NIC) failover/teaming support when using standard image mode.
• Addressed a number of other product defects as described in the Service Pack 1 Release Notes.

Important Requirement: Provisioning Server 4.5 Service Pack 1 requires the installation and use of the new version 11.5 license server shipped with Service Pack 1. See the release notes for more information on upgrading your software and licenses.
