Summary

The CPU usage graph on the WANScaler index_debug.php page does not indicate actual CPU usage.

The CPU Usage graph is the WANScaler Process Usage graph

The CPU usage graph is labeled incorrectly. It monitors the usage of the WANScaler process at any given time. If the WANScaler process usage indicates 100 percent, it does not necessarily mean that the CPU is being used at 100 percent.

In the above screen shot, the WANScaler usage comes close to 100 percent. This is not an indication that the WANScaler is nearing its maximum potential; it indicates that the process is requesting more CPU processing time.

Large file processing and first time passes (to learn acceleration keys) are instances where the graph may peak at 100 percent.
